“IS IT ART”

THE OLDE RAMONA HOTEL GALLERY

In June, The Olde Ramona Hotel Gallery, 845 Main Street, features member LaVina Stromberg joined by her husband Bill, a retired builder, in a combined show. Back and forth between his workshop and her studio, they added different arts to his carvings and her paintings. With a lot of work and some unavoidable silliness, they have explored work with found objects, wire, clay, and more. It is their hope that you will enjoy their efforts entitled “But Is It Art?”

In The Discovery Room, David Armstrong of Borrego Springs displays his award-winning Plein Air Art. David always excelled in art in school, and has had the opportunity to study under well known artists, which allowed him to develop his own style. He works in acrylics and watercolor, but his favorite is oil. Stephanie Paige also continues her most successful exhibit.
